- Course length:
- The courses run from 2 – 5 days depending on
course content, level of detail, and the participants background.
Occasionally I may give a one-day overview
course to high-level management. This is usually combined with a more in
depth course for “the doers” at the same company.
- Decision & Risk Analysis 3 – 5 days
- Value of Information 2 – 3 days
- Real Option Valuation 2 – 3 days
- Petroleum Economics and Business: 3 – 5 days
- Portfolio Analysis and Optimization: 2 – 3 days
- Format:
- All courses are computer based and require that
the participants have access to computers with Excel. For some of the
courses it is advantages to have the Palisade Suite (@RISK and
PrecisionTree) or the Decisioneering Suite (Crystal Ball) installed.
- The courses are, generally, very much hands-on
where the participants are working through a number of real word examples
and cases.
- Typically, the courses are limited to 20
participants to facilitate good discussions and allow the instructor to
interact with and support all of the participants.
- There is ample room for tailoring depending on the
company’s needs. Some common combinations are:
